Tara Van De Wyngaerde Lamboley O.D, P.C
Dr. Tara acquired the practice of Dr. P. Daniel Doyle in July of 2007. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007 from the Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated with honors. She also received a Bachelors in Science of Visual Science degree. During her clinical training, Dr. Tara managed patients at the Indiana Crown Point Veterans Administration with cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive eye disease. While in Englewood, Colorado she worked with binocular vision dysfunction patients and performed vision therapy. During her time at the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Tara managed emergency cases in the Advanced Care department, performed exams on patients with low vision needs and saw post-op cataract and retina surgery patients. Dr. Tara also co-managed lasik, cataract, and penetrating keratoplasty patients at Chicago Cornea Consultants. She has extensive experience in fitting bifocal contact lenses, co-managing surgery patients, managing ocular disease including glaucoma, and treating ocular infections. Dr. Tara is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. She is also active in the Mendota Lions Club and the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys running and being outdoors.
